SYNAXON AG is the parent company of SYNAXON UK Ltd.
The SYNAXON organisation is Europe’s largest grouping of independent IT dealers and system houses. As at December 31, 2007, the enterprise counted 2,681 partners (previous year: 2,630) covering the entire spectrum of IT businesses ranging from customer-facing dealers with retail outlets to online shop operators, value added resellers and larger system houses.
SYNAXON owns and promotes four different brands and two different trading styles within the German market. PC-SPEZIALIST is a franchise system whilst MICROTREND, iTeam and AKCENT are collectives all are owned brands of SYNAXON AG.
The gross external sales of the Synaxon organisation’s member partners are worth
approx. € 3 billion.
SYNAXON partners have exclusive access to SYNAXON’s EGIS online purchasing and information platform. Initially created as a procurement solution only through which prices and availability for IT products could be called up and products could be ordered online and in real time.
EGIS has been further developed into a full service platform. Offer preparation, logistics, marketing processing and the exchange of experience among members are just some of the numerous functions that the system now offers. EGIS now counts more than 3,000 dealer users who have access to more than 120,000 products from 111 distributors.
