Technology Channels Association
The Technology Channels Association or TCA (previously known as the Professional Computing Association” or PCA”) was formed in May 1995 and amalgamated with the Mac Technology Association (MTA) on 9th July 2009.
The TCA is a true trade association representing the full extent of the IT market place-‘the IT Channel’. The Association operates as a Not-for-Profit company limited by guarantee, run for the benefit of its members. It recognises that the best way to benefit members is to promote the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
The Association aims to raise customer awareness of the benefit of dealing with members of the TCA and to act on behalf of members, where appropriate, in dealing with national and international bodies.
The Association has five categories of membership – Full Members, Individual Members, Confidence Assured Members and Affiliate Members and an International Membership.
Members of SYNAXON UK (STP & STPP) receive automatic membership of the TCA at the level of Confidence Assured (C/A). All Synaxon members are expected to abide by the PCA strict code of practice.
