24.08.09 - Synaxon Welcomes Apple Mac Specialists As New Members
Leading dealer group Synaxon has boosted its UK membership by recruiting 15 specialist Apple Mac dealers over the past month. Synaxon has recruited more than 40 new members since the beginning of May and the number of current reseller members UK-wide now exceeds 530.
The surge in membership from the Apple Mac community follows the formation last month of the Technology Channel Association (TCA) trade body through the merger of the Mac Technology Association (MTA) with Professional Computing Association. Synaxon is one of the leading sponsors or the TCA and encourages its members to support the trade body and to adhere to its industry Code of Practice.
Robert Peckham, who was formerly head of the MTA and is now Director of the TCA with special responsibility to Apple resellers, says that it is encouraging to see so many members taking advantage of the benefits that Synaxon is able to offer. “The Synaxon concept is excellent and they should be applauded and encouraged for their efforts to help resellers drive their business development. We’d advise all our Apple Mac dealer members to seriously consider becoming members.”
One of the new recruits is Hi-Tech Bradford, which employs more than 10 full time staff and with close to 20 years of experience serving commercial and educational customers throughout the UK, is one of the UK’s leading Apple VARs. Paul Rhodes, Director of Hi-Tech Bradford says: “We’ve joined Synaxon because we have heard about the benefits it is delivering to other resellers and we want to be a part of that.
