26.11.09 - Synaxon UK Aims To Attract More Office Products Dealers After Signing Up Beta And Blackdog

Latest additions to dealer group’s growing list of supplier partners gives members access to wider range of electronic office supplies products

Leading IT channel dealer group Synaxon is stepping up its recruitment drive in the office products market having significantly enhanced its appeal to dealers by adding two key distributors of electronic office supplies (EOS) products, Beta Distribution and BlackDog Supplies, to its list of suppliers.

As well as the extensive ranges offered by these specialists, Synaxon can offer dealers access to EOS and IT product portfolios of many other top distributors including Ingram Micro, Entatech, Midwich, Imago, Simms and many others. Dealer members can access full availability and pricing details from all these suppliers – and place and manage their orders – through Synaxon’s web-based Electronic Global Information System (EGIS). By doing so, they can be sure of securing the best prices on EOS products, streamline their buying processes, reduce their costs and boost their profitability.

Members can also take advantage of the EGIS WebStore e-commerce and Datapack services to set-up or provide content for their own online offering, thus maximising their sales opportunities on EOS products. This can be fully integrated with the dealer’s own back-office systems to provide live availability, pricing and automated ordering through the dealer’s own website.

Derek Jones, Managing Director of Synaxon UK, says that the number of office products dealers signing up with Synaxon is growing, and points out that even dealers from other dealer groups are now enjoying the benefits of free membership of Synaxon.  With the new additions of BlackDog and Beta, membership has become even more appealing to traditional OP dealers. “EOS products are now generating more than 40 percent of most office products dealers’ revenues, thus making sure that they can secure the best availability and pricing is increasingly important.  Beta and BlackDog are valuable additions to our supplier network this significantly enhances the value of our service for office products dealers.

Our suppliers can provide that expertise.”
